2010 Regional Leadership Workshops in Arden and Clayton

Resourceful Communities will hold Regional Leadership Workshops on March 24-25 in Clayton, NC, and on April 7-8 in Arden, NC.

Workshops are open to Resourceful Communities partners free-of-charge.   These day-and-a-half workshops will explore: 

  • non-grant fundraising in a challenging economy;
  • and building effective collaboratoins.

Registration Process: For more information about the workshops, email Resourceful Communities.  The registration deadline for Arden is March 19.  The deadline to register for the workshop in Clayton is March 10.

 

Cost: Resourceful Communities will provide lodging, meals and mileage reimbursement for participants.

Project Spotlight
Resourceful Communities is working with partners to establish NC's first community forest on a 532-acre parcel in Hoke County.

Community forestry engages local partners in planning, management and stewardship. Adjacent to forestlands with the second largest US population of the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker, this community forest will restore habitat, provide economic opportunities and more.
